Apple is bringing an AI assistant to its Pages, Keynote and Numbers productivity apps, The Verge reports.
The assistant is built on AI models from Apple and OpenAI and can understand the context of a document. In Keynote, Apple says it will be able to help with tasks such as designing, animating and refining slides.
Apple also says the assistant will support document work in Pages, including drafting and restructuring content. The available report does not provide further details about the assistant’s spreadsheet capabilities in Numbers or its release timing.
The integration would put generative AI directly inside Apple’s productivity suite, allowing users to request changes within the apps rather than moving their work to a separate chatbot.
