Google and Xreal have put the Aura glasses on sale for $1,099, according to The Verge. The price is lower than previously expected and undercuts Meta’s comparable VR glasses pricing, The Verge reports.

The Aura weighs 95 grams and connects to a tethered Android XR compute puck. The glasses also support multiple virtual screens, giving users a way to view several digital displays through the device.

The launch adds another hardware option to the emerging Android XR ecosystem, with Xreal and Google positioning the product as a lighter wearable than a conventional headset. Further product details were not available in the report.
