Meta may push the implementation of its new business terms past November 20, according to The Verge, as the company faces backlash from publishers concerned about AI training.
In a post on X, Meta communications head Andy Stone said the company does “not plan to make policy changes without a full consultation with industry groups and leaders.”
The potential delay would give Meta more time to consult with publishers and other industry representatives before changing the terms. The Verge’s report does not indicate a new implementation date.
